Thank you for visiting the Virginia Belles’ website. Founded in 1977, the Virginia Belles is the oldest all-female a cappella group at the University of Virginia. As we are affiliated with the McIntire Department of Music, we take great pride in representing the University to the Charlottesville community and to our broader audiences. Our group is entirely nonprofit, meaning that our fundraising proceeds go directly to support our musical endeavors, including our semester concerts, fall tour, and annual EP releases. We primarily fundraise through donations from parents and alumni, as well as various benefactors, including the University Student Council and the Parents Program. If you would like to contribute to our group, we would greatly appreciate any donation.
